MIDNIGHT

Meet Midnight! This little approx. 1 1/2 - 2 year old, black, male Cocker was dropped at a church parking lot and left to fend for himself. A kind lady fed him but he still had to withstand close to 100 degree weather for about a week. After Midnight was rescued, he was taken to the vet for a thorough check-up, shots and heartworm test. He is heartworm negative, has been neutered and is housetrained. Midnight stayed the night at the vet's where he was sedated and shaved, given a good bath and a few hotspots treated. He is flea and tick clear!

Midnight's foster Mom picked him up the next day and the next thing she knew he was sleeping in her bed! He tolerates other dogs but would love to be an only child. He would be best in a home without children only because he seems to be uncomfortable around them.

We have some great news about Midnight.   We listed Midnight on Petfinders and the next day received a call from a couple in Salem, Indiana.  They lost a Cocker to cancer two years ago and had decided they were ready for another one. They filled out an application form, references were checked and we traveled to Salem for a home visit.  Midnight, now Daniel, has found his forever home!
