Helping Our Pets Endure

2006

Volunteer of the Year

SHERRY RICHARDSON

Sherry lives in Lebanon Junction.  She and her mom joined HOPE for Pets in April, 2006.  She has attended all the Volunteer meetings and always comes with something in hand to donate.  She is always willing to help whether it is at a tabling event or with one of our fundraisers.  We can always depend on Sherry to come every month to help deliver food to our HOPE on Wheels clients.

Sherry was our first foster and still fosters for us.  Her first foster was Midnight, now known as Daniel until he was adopted to a wonderful couple in Salem, Indiana.  She is currently taking care of Naomi, a boxer mix, Cheyenne a Border Collie and three Great Dane/German Shepherd mix puppies.  Sherry rescued Cheyenne and the puppies from certain death herself.  She also has three dogs of her own.

Thank You Sherry.  We appreciate everything you do!
